website: www.avenuetheatre.ca
venue type: theatre
capacity: 400 standing, 300 seating, 150 tables & chairs
Accessibility: Venue has no stairs, is well signed, and in general, can be made extremely accessible by event coordinators (venue is extremely supportive). Accessible parking spaces can be reserved; ramps can be rented for the stage if needed. Male accessible washroom door may not close properly - suggestion: temporary screen for door, AND make both washrooms gender neutral.

The employees who manage the place are a diverse groups of artists and musicians who are committed to keeping the venue open to diverse groups and supporting art in any form. The venue supports the artistic projects of its employees and community.

Avenue Theatre is great, but bike parking was pretty slim last time I was there! It's a chronic problem all along 118 Ave right now, though.
E-mail the city transplanning@edmonton.ca to request bike parking in specific locations.
